I have Themeforest v4 installed. I updated to V6, but doing so broke all my content. Thankfully, I had a backup. Am I stuck with having to reformat all my content if I want to keep using V6? Or am I doing something wrong in the update process. I did an update from the link in Wordpress. Then I downloaded the new theme in zip format and tried uploading that. Both failed to keep my content as designed in V4. Ideas? I’d like to keep my Themeforest theme up-to-date, but currently have to stick with V4.

Please check the theme documentation hopefully you will get necessary support about the process of theme update. Otherwise the best way to get the support is Contact your purchased theme Author. How to Contact Author and let them know because Item Author are best expert about their Item functionality.
