Update old items or moving on?

Hi,

I have some old songs in my portfolio, some of them have more than 7 years, and logically some sound outdated technically, but I’m not sure if is better to update/remix/etc or just forget about it and concentrate on new songs.

The thing is, if I update the song it will be buried anyway at the bottom of the listings, so why bother to improve it? In the other hand if the song is improved maybe it get new/more sales…

What are your approaches to this matter?

I think it’s probably better to write new tracks.

I have updated some of my older tracks, but generally only those that had zero sales. It definitely helped with the sales. But If they already have sales, I wouldn’t worry about them, just leave them alone.

Once I remixed my old tracks and I got sales but nowadays I would focus on new music. Cheers!
