Update help for U-Design needed

I am new to this and don’t even know if I’m posting in the right place. My Wordpress site was created by a developer who used U-Design. I’m on version 2.13.18 and need to install the latest version 3.3.1. I’m having difficulty with the manual update. Got everything FTP’d ok, then a setup wizard popped up in my dashboard, so I followed it. That overwrote my site with your business template. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. And if the fact that I’m on a much older version will affect any updates.

You are using around 1 year old version 2.13.18 current version 3.3.1. So, please contact your purchased theme Author through Item Support page and let them know. your theme Author will assist you about the theme update process.
