Does the fact that this concept has been done before mean that it will no longer be accepted?
The typography and spacing are fully user adjustable via Elementor and this is covered in the manual. Isn’t it better to leave such options to the user’s preference?

Market saturation and competitiveness definitely comes into it esp as some of the new ones offer a huge variety of options, features, functionality etc. and there are so many free WP magazine type themes available
The point is more that the presentation needs to be the best it can be. You should also be considering different post types, making links in man nav connect e.g. contact. It’s all about attention to detail.
