Unauthorized Reselling of Envato Elements Items on Tokopedia

I recently discovered that a seller on Tokopedia is reselling Envato Elements items. This is a direct violation of intellectual property rights and Envato’s licensing terms. Even though these are not my own items, I wanted to raise awareness about this issue.

Here are two examples:

Envato Elements Items:

  1. Belvand: BELVAND - Corporate Powerpoint Template Incl. corporate & formal - Envato
  2. Accfinan: Accfinan Accountant Finance Powerpoint Template Incl. business & accountant - Envato

Tokopedia Reselling:

  1. Bulk Item: https://tokopedia.link/jmZEAqbz3Ob
  2. Tokopedia Seller’s Store: https://tokopedia.link/jmZEAqbz3Ob

This seller has a large number of Envato Elements assets listed. It’s unclear how they acquired these items, whether through scraping or manual downloading, but it’s definitely against the rules and not acceptable.

I hope this can be addressed to protect the rights of all contributors on Envato. Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,
Firman

Those links don’t work, so maybe the account has been removed?

Hi Marg,

Thanks for your reply! Yes, for the previous items, I’ve already reported them to Tokopedia, and they’ve taken them down. However, I’ve found another instance of unauthorized reselling, this time with a different item and store. Here are the details:

Tokopedia Reselling Listing:

I hope this can help in addressing the issue further. It’s unfortunate that this keeps happening, but I’ll continue to monitor and report any further cases.

Hi @FirmanMawlana. Thanks for reporting these - we generally don’t allow public links to nulled/pirated/unauthorised reseller sites on the forums though, as we need to minimise the traffic going to those sites.

If you spot your own items on other sites, the fastest way to resolve this is by sending that site owner a DMCA notice.

When the items belong to other authors, you can contact those authors directly (as the copyright owner, they can file their own DMCA), or you can report these to our Author Support team by raising a ticket here.

For sites containing many stolen items, it’s worth doing both: Authors can send DMCA notices for their items for a quicker response, and Envato’s Rights Management team can take action against the website owner. That tends to be a lot slower than item-level DMCAs, but can still be an effective follow-up to reduce the chances of more stolen items being added in future.

Hi Ben,

Apologies for providing links outside of Envato. I understand now, and I’ll make sure to stick to the guidelines moving forward. I’ve submitted a ticket to Envato, but they mentioned that only the owner of the items can take direct action.

I’ve also reported the issue to Tokopedia’s customer support, and they are looking into it.

Thank you for your help and the solution, Ben! I really appreciate your guidance.
