Unable to upload to WP two plugins from CodeCanyon

Hi,

I bought a few years ago the regular license for the following plugins:

  • User Pro - Community and User Profile WordPress Plugin
  • Testimonials Showcase - Wordpress Plugin

Since my WP was hacked, I tried now to reinstall those plugins. And although I´m able to download them from CodeCanyon, when I tried to upload the zip files to my WP, a window pops up, saying that they´re incompatible files. It seems that for some reason the zip files are not downloading correctly. Could you please check and tell me how I can get the correct zip files?

WordPress has a bug with its last update for zip files created on the Mac os. The team are currently working on a fix. In the meantime, you can upload using the FTP method shown in this article:

Most likely you are trying to install the whole download and not only the plugin folder/zip?

Incompatible files or Incompatible archive? What’s the exact error message?
