UK author needs to know about paypal fees

Hello,
I would like to know from another UK author how much Paypal fees would be if I withdrew $50 from my Envato account. I would like to know how many fees there are and how much these fees add up to with today’s exchange rate fees from Paypal.

There’s no fees when you request a payment from Envato to PayPal.

There’s a hidden fee while you’re getting your money from PayPal to bank account. It’s because of the exchange rates are not perfect and you’d be losing 2-4% of the money. I’d suggest if you’d transfer more than 2000$, get a USD account and use SWIFT instead

I have been speaking to other UK people who use Paypal and they say there is other charges if I use Paypal, something about a 4% and a cross border fee.

If a UK author can verify this please?
