Two times soft rejected for the same issues.

I have converted a muse template in HTML version but got rejected two times for the same reason. I have tried but unable to make it approved yet. I don’t understand what should i do or where should i fix. Any help will be appreciate.

Here is the muse template demo: http://bygormodon.com/MUSE/PAPIO/
Here is the HTML template demo: http://wpbd.net/envato/papio/

Reason of soft reject:

1. Unfortunately ‘Site Templates’ has higher standards in terms of
aesthetics. An approved design in other categories does not guarantee an
approval under ThemeForest’s Site Templates category. Your design has
an interesting starting concept, but it needs significant improvements
in terms of aesthetics and attention to details.

2. As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval
requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.

3. Minimal templates can be clean and simple when you manage to handle
the white space and details to provide a simple but yet unique template.
But if you can’t, it will look like an incomplete template – blank
template.

4. In this case, the submitted template is more like a ‘framework’ than a
full fledged design. If you’re going with minimalism, you need to make
sure all the little details check out.

I’m getting the idea they do not want new authors. They want existing authors who made them bank to submit garbage, which based on the new entries, appear to be the case. Or, the reviewers have their favourites, and everyone is rejected without cause (or even a look in some cases).

I say this because I too received my second reject, citing that no improvements were made, which is BS. According to my demo site traffic log, he didn’t even look. Maybe he wanted a bribe?

Hey it looks good but lacks the finesse. It can be tweaked a little to make it more premium like. Personally I dont like the rounded borders and the space between images amd also the black lines in the design skills section could be a a light gray shade. It just needs some tweaking around to get accepted.
Also you can try making the red underline to 1px height. make something to appear on hovering portfolio images.
All the best
