We have had our theme hard rejected. When uploaded the team uploaded our test site as a demo which is probably the reason it was rejected.
We were told the following:
Here is the comment from your Envato Quality team reviewer:
I am afraid this item is pretty poor and quite far from prime ready. It would undoubtedly take a considerable amount of work to get it to a point where we would consider going further with a full review. So I am afraid I will have to hard reject it on this instance.
Examples of areas which look terribly bland and/or unfinished but there are many more:

We are only considering items that really stand-out and have been carefully crafted.
At the time of upload we were testing some new image caching on this URL so SVG images were not even appearing.
Secondly this theme includes out custom plugin, which is a page builder. It make the theme completely customisable. So its more about the plugin than the theme itself.
So my questions:
If I now go back and update our demo site with nice images and a correctly laid out the site with decent content , can i resubmit it?
Is updating the content enough? Our theme does not have a lot of animation, rather it has a set of 22 modules that an editor can choose from to build each page. These modules can have any colour, font, content needed.
