I have recently taken over a website developed in Wordpress that uses an old The7 theme. It hasn’t been updated in years and the theme updates are too old to be auto-updated without erroring out. I am trying to track down information and was curious on the timing of some items. In word press I can see the partial purchase code for the theme and says I can see the full code at Envato. The company however doesn’t seem to have an existing account at Envato. Does anyone know roughly when Envato came onto the scene to track this stuff? Would the company have purchased the theme from WordPress or from DreamTheme? I’m just trying to make sense of my options for proceeding.
