Title says it all. 4 months of waiting then this time lapse was hard-rejected because "Unfortunately we are unable to accept your submission, as the camera work in this submission is not stable enough."
It doesn’t get much more stable than a stationary tripod… Can’t even resubmit. Reviewers need to open their eyes.
First of all - yes, I agree that’s a ridiculous rejection.
But it does move a tiny bit (easy to fix) and no, a stationary tripod is no guarantee for a stable shot.
