Theme uploading error missing template "layout/theme.liquid"

I just bought the7 theme from themeforest and ive unzipped the first themeforest zip i received. It gave me a bunch of other files and another zip called “dt-the7-8.6.0.zip”.

I tried to upload the “dt-the7-8.6.0.zip” to my shopify store but it gave me the layout/theme.liquid error.
Id like to upload one of the7’s premade website called the minimal creative dark.

The name of the first zip file i received is “themeforest-ihwCxuZW-the7-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-”.

Edit: I just want to upload the minimal creative dark theme. Did I buy the wrong thing?
Am I uploading the wrong file? Is there something im doing wrong?
Would really appreciate the help!

https://themeforest.net/item/the7-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/5556590 is a WordPress theme so it won’t work on Shopify
