Hello, community.

What do you use for demo content import in your themes?
I recently tried One click demo import plugin and its ready terrible one. I had a lot of pain working with it. Its hard to import the media, especially from localhost. It didn’t import widgets and didn’t setup the menu after the import.

Please, advise me something else.

I have a custom solution, which I have written for my new theme which will be sent for review soon, it not only imports the posts, pages taxonomies etc from separate files, but also imports relationships between them, the script imports also imports widgets and theme settings.
