This error occurs when the file you are trying to upload into WordPress is not a valid theme file. Please go back to your downloads page and download the theme again, making sure to select “Installable WordPress file only.”
If you don’t see this option, then you may have purchased an item which is not compatible with WordPress. I would suggest contacting the author of the item you purchased to see if they offer a WordPress version and can help you exchange it.

Hello @gwaliwa2010 .
This can also happen if you try to upload the default zip file to your server.
You probably need to extract it previously on your computer, because the main zip file has documentations, and instalable files together, and if you try to upload that file it will give you error on the “missing style.css”.
Try this and then upload only the instalable version of the theme you’ve purchased.

As a third option - there is an envato WP plugin that you can install and in “settings” of the plugin (once it is installed) at the bottom has a manual theme uploader - try uploading the complete zip there as it is once downloaded from envato, and usually they install using that uploader vs the WP default one
