It raises the question: how can an unlimited download subscription be valued at only 14.5 euros per month? Hiring a skilled freelance artist for After Effects or 3D software typically costs at least 700 euros per day. The stark contrast between Envato’s pricing model and the actual worth of motion graphics is staggering.
Unlike streaming platforms like Netflix or Amazon, where content caters to the masses, digital video items and plugins don’t have the same broad appeal. They belong to a niche market, specifically catering to certain industries. Companies invest in digital content because these items are essential for their operations, adding significant value to their business. It’s crucial to recognize that people don’t subscribe to services like Netflix to make money or run a business; it’s purely for entertainment.
Unlike entertainment platforms, subscription models are not universally effective in the digital content industry. Even Netflix, a giant in the streaming world, faces challenges with its subscription model, necessitating price hikes and the inclusion of commercials. This dynamic is not conducive to the nature of digital content industries, especially those serving niche markets. The subscription model appears unlikely to thrive in the foreseeable future.

99.9% rejection. Videos.
I am in some subscription programs. As many here, I guess. But can say Envato’s is the best. No doubt. Not much income, but regular. Had to say that! It destroyed ordinary sales, I know. But it is same in every agency I am in. Not all here is so bad. Not at all.
We will have to deal with all sorts of AI programs as now existing are. It is the beginning. Hope not end for us, human authors.
