Friends, the time has come when the market has stopped. I think this is the end and there’s no point anymore.
Glad to see that growth, but I’m afraid themes and code are a totally differernt environment. It’s music assets we’re talking here.
Since three years authors talking about the drop of sales. We noticed way more than thousand times, that the complete stock music market is changing. Since three years authors repeating: The market is dead. Again and again. Subscription models, AI, a huge increase of authors and, the amount of available music, market saturation and so far. The funny thing is, that on AJ the authors still producing and uploading new music, knowing, that it is senseless and wasted time and effort. Why are you doing that? There will definitely be no change to an increase of sales. Stop wasting your time.
.
Well, I write to other libraries as well. Under a non-exclusive license. I’m uploading it here at the same time…
It still makes sense. Everyone has different strategies.
In the past I’ve hosted assets on almost all non-exclusive stock site in existence (I even caught the era of Rumblefish’s scandalous closure and bankruptcy. Before the first rebranding aprox.15 years ago). At this point, I’m still hosted on two dozen stocks and libraries (include Chinese stocks among them) that continue to generate a steady income. Audiojungle is obviously no longer generating revenue at the same rate. However, since Elements still brings me an extra thousand dollars a month, why not upload tracks here too?
Exactly!
