Templates

I bought a wordpress template kit. I have edited one of the templates but I can’t find a way to save it as a Wordpress page. I even created a blank page and tried to insert it that way. And I to the error about a Post Content Widget must be included.
What is the best and easiest way to Convert / Save a Template to a Wordpress Page??

You’re probably having compatibility issue with the template and your current WordPress version

Wordpress is up to date. I cant find any way to create a new page now in wordpress.
ERROR “The post content widget was not found in your template”. You must include the Post Content Widget in your template (single Page) for Elementor to work on this page. And there is an “Edit Template” button. This template kit does not work!!. I waited all day for an answer on this problem.

Did you purchase it from Elements? If so, the items are not supported by the author.

**Dytonite - Digital Marketing Company Elementor Pro Template Kit Preview - ThemeForest

Now that I installed it - Elementor can’t create new pages

And there is no author to contact from the demo page!!

Hi @aramis88,

This Template Kit item don’t come with author support mean author don’t provide support for this item. You can try to contact the author here by posting a comment:

Thanks

How do I get a refund??

If you are eligible to get a refund then you can request for a refund. Can I Get A Refund is an explanation of the refund policy.

Hello,

We can confirm this item is working as advertised. IT is likely you have a setup issue or do not have the Elementor Pro upgrade installed (be sure to check the item description for the item requirements - this is a Pro kit that requires you to have the premium version of Elementor)

Ensure you’ve setup the kit correctly:

Hello,

  1. Download your kit file from Envato and do not unzip it. If you use Safari browser you may need to ensure “Open safe files after downloading” is disabled in the browser preferences.
  2. Go to Settings > Permalinks and ensure Post Name is selected
  3. Go to Appearance > Themes > Add New and ensure Hello Elementor is installed and activated
  4. Go to Plugins and ensure Elementor and Envato Elements are installed and at the latest version.
  5. Go to Elements > Installed Kits and click Upload Template Kit Zip (or click your kit to view it)
  6. Check for the orange banner at the top and click Install Requirements to load any plugins the kit uses. Screenshot on 2022-05-04 at 12:42:28.png - Droplr
  7. Click import on the Global Kit Styles first. This will setup the site settings.
  8. Click Import on one template at a time in the order shown. These are stored in Elementor under Templates > Saved Templates and are re-used from here.
  9. If you see an error report during template import, click on “Show Debug Details” and copy/paste the contents to us here. Go to Elements > Settings and ensure all server checks are green to verify your server can support WordPress importing.

Creating Pages

  1. Go to Pages and create a new page and click Edit with Elementor
  2. Click the gear icon at lower-left of the builder to view page settings and choose Elementor Full Width and hide page title
  3. Click the gray folder icon to access My Templates tab and then Import the page you’d like to customize.
  4. The home page is set under Settings > Reading by selecting Static Front Page.

You do get premium spport from Elementor with a Pro license. They can assist with any questions or issues you have using the builder to customize or setup pages
