"Tableau Server" error on Author Dashboard reports page (May 16th)

Hi all. I’m pulling some comments out of an unrelated thread, so we can monitor for anyone else running into this issue.

If you are an Elements Author, and you visit the dashboard at author.envato.com/reports this should help if you see an error in place of your regular Earnings, Item Performance and Trends & Insights reports.

We believe that the underlying issue has now been fixed, but a few people (including me!) were still seeing the “Sign in to Tableau Server” message after the page was back online.

If this is the case, it looks like it’s a local cache issue.

In Chrome, you can click to the left of the page URL here:

Then go to “Manage on-device site data” and remove the entry for authordata.envato.com

Once that’s done, you should be able to reload the page and see your reports as normal.


I still have the problem on Edge after I cleared the cache. No problem on Chrome

I didn’t know if anyone is still using Edge. As it’s not common browser and causing lots of issue, it’s time to change the browser.
