Hi folks, just had my track “Reggae Groove” rejected, and I’m quite surprised to be honest! Just got the usual,
This submission does not meet AudioJungle’s commercial production (samples/recording/mixing/mastering) standard, and its commercial composition/arrangement standard, unfortunately.
Any thoughts why it might be rejected? I was very happy with the mix and arrangement, so I’m clueless!

Furthermore, I’ve seen that only 9 reggae tracks have been accepted in the last month, including tracks with samples such as in this intro https://audiojungle.net/item/jah-lion-dub/19642873
How is this level of quality recently accepted, but my track is not?
(Disclaimer; I don’t mean to call out the author of the above track, but rather the reviewer)

Hi Alister!
Sorry to hear that. Have lots of rejections myself, so I understand well. From the examples you put on - I can only assume yours being more experimental in nature - plus more “in your face” while the other track is more laid back, leaving space for voice etc.? Just my assumption, maybe there is totally different reason.

Thanks for your feedback, Soundlufs. That makes sense, but if that’s the case then it’s just disappointing that there are massively over-saturated genres where everything sounds the same, and you try and make a fun and different track in a much smaller genre and it gets rejected.

Hi there. It’s not a typical AJ sound probably that’s why it was rejected, but hell i can imagine million and one place it can be used. Not a hot shot, but deserve at least some sales. On this moments i usually advice to put it on some more unique sound oriented stocks, definitely deserve to be online somewhere. Lucks on ya mate!

Superb track. Surely perfect for a whole bunch of projects. It frightens me a lot, to see such a good work rejected.
