I know it’s been discussed many times, and maybe this particular suggestion has already been made.
Does Envato have any sort of system in place to encourage buyers to rate items? Why not have something like Amazon, where about a week after buying something you get an automatic email from Amazon asking you how you feel about the thing you bought with a link to write a review/rate it. Maybe there’s already something like this, but it doesn’t seem like it. Currently with what I’ve noticed leaving a rating is a little inconvenient, with it only prompting the buyer to leave a rating right after purchasing an item, before using it, which doesn’t make much sense.
I haven’t received a rating since about 2013, and many items with hundreds or even thousands of sales may only have 10 or so ratings, if any. It almost seems like having a rating system is useless.
