Stripe recurring payment issue

I bought support for the Houzez theme and have a ticket raised which has been unresolved for nearly 6 months. Despite numerous additional to their support they refuse to do anything about it.

Houzez recurring stripe payment does not work because houzez is using outdated Stripe API. I cant use this theme until the payment issue is fixed. They (favetheme) have acknowledge the issue and have promised to make it a priority, but this was over 5 months ago. Any future tickets i raise goes into black hole, leaving me very frustrated.

I agree, other from the fact that it was set up in the first place. However when it comes to cancellation, I normally check for legitimate “active” subscriptions every time a person logs in and restrict access if they don’t. However, as you said, subscription management are particularly handy for keeping track of events such as failed payments, trial expirations, billing & invoicing and cancellations. I’m thinking about writing a post about it.
