Guitar sounds a bit cheap like an old midi. But you can try.

Hey there,

Unfortunately I don’t think this will work. The composition is OK, but the production is not. Particularly the midi guitar sounds fake and bad. Overall, the track sounds too plasticky and cheap to compete with current AJ standard.

Always try to create a human feel in your productions - good luck!

Thanks for the comment! I used evolution nylon guitar for the arpeggiated guitar, maybe I must learn to improve the sound! :wink:

Yes, the piano too.

  • From my point of view, first of all it’s the timbre. Try to find more acoustic and natural sound.
  • Be careful with velocities - listen how it impact to a timbre.
  • Use a bit more hall with long predelay (50-120 for predelay, 2-4 sec for decay, it depends on a plugin).
