Soft Rejected - Email Template - Feedback For A Weird Reason

#1

Hello,

I had submitted an email template and some hours ago, my item has reviewed and I got “Soft Reject”. I didn’t fully understand the reason so maybe someone can help me out.

The reason is:
“Please provide a demo URL without the theme builder and links to assets should be absolute URLs. This will be only accessed by the Review Team for testing purposes.”

01. During the uploading of the item, I had used on the demo URL the link of the StampReady builder which I have uploaded it there for the live preview purposes. So what I need to do? Should I upload the template into a personal server and provide the URL?

02. What they mean about absolute URLs? I have used URLs on my template which the code is like this:
<.a href="#"> text or image <./a> What changes I need to do, to make them absolute?

Thank you so much!

Thank you for the quick response!

So I only need a link like this? https://goo.gl/9vyS5k Why they want to shorten the link? Any reason?
And what about the absolute URLs. Should I make changes before resubmitted?

Thanks again!

So if I understand right, I should create a page on my personal server which are shown the three different previews on StampReady, MailChimp and Campaign Monitor? This link must be put on the “Demo URL” on the item resubmission?

After I got accepted, can I change the Demo URL link with the direct StampReady Builder preview link?

It’s because reviewers want to see the template without any builder. After the approval you can update the preview button with the template in Stampready builder. It still doesn’t make sense to me but that’s what they said to me when I ask them the same question.

Sorry for bothering you again but what about the absolute URLs they are telling me?

“Please provide a demo URL without the theme builder and links to assets should be absolute URLs. This will be only accessed by the Review Team for testing purposes.”
