Soft reject - SPACING AND ALIGNMENT, LINE HEIGHT, LOW CONTRAST

Hello!

I recently completed my first project, after uploading it, I received the first soft reject. The reason was as follows:

  1. Keyword stuffing in the item title is not allowed. We recommend keeping keywords in your titles to a maximum of two.
    https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029562131}

  2. SPACING AND ALIGNMENT: There are spacing and alignment issues in this item. Please make sure that all elements are aligned properly and spacing is consistent from section to section. Here are some articles with more information regarding negative space and proper spacing: http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/using-white-space-or-negative-space-in-your-designs--webdesign-3401, http://webdesign.tutsplus.com/articles/adding-space-to-your-designs--webdesign-14836

I read the articles that they sent me, and tried to fix it based on what I understood, but apparently I didn’t understand something correctly, because after I uploaded the changes, I received a second soft reject:

  1. SPACING AND ALIGNMENT: There are spacing and alignment issues in this item. Please make sure that all elements are aligned properly and spacing is consistent from section to section. 2. LINE HEIGHT: To improve readability, please adjust the line height of the following text elements. Ideally, line height should be unitless. Ref: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/08/typographic-design-survey-best-practices-from-the-best-blogs/#6-optimal-line-height-for-body-copy

  3. LOW CONTRAST: Please increase the visual contrast of the following elements, which will drastically improve legibility and readability. Ref: https://www.nngroup.com/articles/low-contrast/

If anyone can say what I did wrong, because this is my first project, and I want to understand now what I am doing wrong, so as not to repeat these mistakes again for the future.
The first time I corrected the line-height, according to the principle of “Golden Ratio Typography (GRT) Calculator”.
I corrected the distance between the sections, but I did not quite understand how it’s all right to measure the distance, because there are many geometric objects, and the distance from section to section may differ.

Thanks in advance.

Someone can help? At least one design, so that I understand how to do the rest correctly.

Is it psd design or HTML? Is there link link. I can help you more easily.

Thank you that you answered me.

Hello There,
The main issues in your design are spacing and line-height. Click here to see the example.

  1. The line-height in your heading text is more than required. Try decreasing the line-height.
  2. Spacing between Heading and Paragraph is also more than required.
  3. Slightly increase the line-height of the paragraph.
  4. Again the spacing between paragraph and buttons is more than it should be.

All the other sections have the same issues related to the spacing and line-height. The spacing between one section to another must also be equal. The footer needs some more room to breathe. Increase the top and bottom padding of your footer.

The Low Contrast issue is related to the Dark Theme Demo. The paragraph text is not visible clearly. Increase the opacity of your text to 0.7

Fix the issues carefully and try submitting again. Hope it gets approved

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your review.

I have troubles with spacing. I don’t know how proper measure the distance from section to section, from wich element i need to start and finish measuring? And with wich elements i don’t need to measure, from example maybe: shapes, shadows, points, etc.
Also i want to know, what is the ideal distance from section to section, beacause i see 100px isn’t enough.
The proper line-height, is (line height (pixels) Ă· body copy font size (pixels) = 1.48), right?

Thanks in advance.

Having a consistent spacing between section to section is so important. Have a look at this example and you will get an idea about measuring the spacing and where you are doing wrong.
In this example you can see that the both sections have different spacing, which is not acceptable. Each section of your design must have equal spacing.

Hello,
Can someone tell if the improvements I made are correct?

  • Spacing from section to section - 150px.
  • Line-height:
    (Font-size | Line-height)
    48px - 60px
    24px - 37px
    18px - 32px/29px
    16px - 28px/25px
    14px - 21px

Here are the export file:

Hello WebThrone,
