It’s not a finished project but just the start. In addition, it doesn’t follow any design rules/requirements

With respect this is nowhere near the standards.

  • There is issues throughout with typography, hierarchy and a lack of styling

  • No premium features or functionality that could not easily be found for free online

  • There’s no point having the menus e.g. in the footer that don’t do anything- it just feels unfinished

No one is going to be able to teach anyone else how to design or code, and its unlikely that anyone will have the time to guide other people to submission.

Ultimately if an author cannot get approved on their own then they are going to struggle going forward with updates, maintenance etc. too. hence the level of expectation in the current review process.
