I have a project thats almost ready to go and I includes a landing page about what the template is actaully about. Do I need to include that page in my final submission. The page does not represent any design for my site template. Just a page to link to demo layouts.

No, you don’t need to add that landing page. You have to include all demo pages for your template mean only template pages.
