How do i get the “simple portfolio” type of page to be the main homepage in the Bifrost theme I just downloaded?
Settings > Reading > Homepage (change to whatever the page youare trying to use is called).
I don’t see anything called “reading” under “homepage settings” or under “general > settings”
ah sorry, i do see the reading section now, I must have been in the settings page for the theme, not for wordpress itself… My problem is that I want to use a particular page that the theme advertised:
In the above link I want to make the “simple portfolio” template my default landing page
You would need to import the demo content (read documentation with the theme) or your own media then apply that page in the home page settings above

@krenshaw04 the demos can be imported on Appearance > One Click Demo Importer, you’ll be able there to choose individual pages to import, for more information please check the documentation or create a ticket in our support system.
