I just setup a server status page for customers to check on the overall system/server status, the following information about the server is shown.
API Server [#LOCATION#] [#IP#]
Webserver [#LOCATION#] [#IP#]
MongoDB Server [#LOCATION#] [#IP#]
Example; http://status.belimitless.nl/
My question: What’s the best practice for a status page? Should i list the IP address or only the name? And is it wise to add the ip address of the database server in the status page?
Hope someone has some advice in this mater.
