Yes, the only “Chargebacks that win easily” are those from people who claim they didnt purchase something… (Because that case, bank suspect that fraudsters have the credit card details of the victim and using it to buy stuff)…
And its also the easiest case to prove if envato submits ALL evidence of purchaser to bank through payment gateway… When they do that, what happens is the interpol or fraud unit of that country, uses those evidence evnvato should be providing like IP address and other details, to go after the fraudsters and eventually catch them elsewhere someday…
But when you dont submit evidence, they not only take the money, BUT ALSO see ENVATO as an irresponsible vendor that encourages fraud…
So the moment a chargeback comes, they know that envato is always guilty and does fight… So they dont even open that 90 day investigation at a point and simply act in favor of customer due to envato’s history with their payment gateway
