Revus Theme – Issues with Category Display, Search Filters, and Permalinks

Hi Envato Community,

I’m using the Revus theme and need help with three configuration issues:

  1. Category Display Problem
  • Articles/posts aren’t displaying when filtered by category (e.g., clicking a category shows no results or incorrect items).
  • Are there specific settings or template overrides needed to ensure categories display their assigned posts?
  1. Search Filter Misalignment
  • The search/filter function (e.g., for products or portfolio items) isn’t showing the correct results.
  • How should I configure the filter to match the intended taxonomy (e.g., by custom post type, tags, or attributes)?
  1. Permalink Redirects to Archive
  • When clicking a single item (e.g., a blog post or product), the URL sometimes redirects to an archive page instead of the dedicated single-view page.
  • Is this a permalink structure issue? Should I modify .htaccess or theme settings to fix this?

Details:

  • Theme: Revus (latest version).
  • WordPress permalinks: Currently set to “Post name” (tried resetting, but issue persists).
