Revolution Slider Installation Breaks Dashboard

Hello,
I had an older version of the Revolution Slider plugin installed on my site using the Udesign theme. I upgraded my slider to the newest version and for some reason the code broke so my slider was no longer being displayed on the front page of my site. I thought I would try reinstalling the plugin to see if that made a difference and when I went to reinstall my dashboard became a white screen. I had to go into my cpanel and delete the slider plugin via ftp. Now when I go to my plugins page there is a note at the top saying that the revslider has has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist. I’m not sure why this happened or how to go about fixing this issue. I am currently running Wordpress 4.3.1. If anyone has an answer or some advice I would be grateful for it. Thank you
