I am en elite author myself but this is simply disappointing for all hard working authors. With your review times it will let people have, if lucky, new theme approved every 90 working days. There should be a limit of some kind but what you introduced in simply unfair. It should be more like 2 standard and 3 elite , your approach does not fix anything but create double standards and promote elite authors. I would start with your end and work on your review system which lacks consistency and proper guidelines. Each reviewer seems to have developed his/her own strategy, and this is ineffective and misleading. At the moment it takes longer to have the item reviewed then developed. Cut down your review times to 10-15 days and bobs your uncle!
I agree . I think that this restriction will be important when considering the term will be reduced to 7-9 days
Ok,I didn’t hear specifics on other categories on Audiojungle (like Logo and Music Pack) are they also going to have limit?
and hopefully this change will not affect the marketplace with a lot of new accounts from the same author
I am on this market for almost 7 years, and been working with envato for more than 8 years. Our Tf account has almost 3 years and it’s a level 6 ( in 2-3 months it will be elite). My question is: what is the big difference between us and an elite author, that we can upload only one item and they, 5? It is a really big difference! The limitation should be gradually, I don’t think it’s fair to put level 6 authors in the same categorie as a new account with no items.
It must be good for review time. But also liked the idea - more hard rejects less items in the queue
Limitation only affects music category. Packs, logos, kits are not limited.
Good News I miss the queue 7 days
Thanks, Envato, good news
Exellent! ))))
Great!
Hi, This is a great step forward, No doubt
But I think The Standard Authors are getting an Unfair treatment for a problem which is a collective responsibility of both authors and envato
My humble suggestion
- Restrict submission per time period for eg 1 submission per 25 days or 30 days till the review queue is brought down to less than 30 days. One submission per month looks fair enough to me.
- Since Standard Authors are allowed only 1 Submission, give them the ability to Edit just ONCE their file in Queue
- Once the item is being reviewed can you guys remove/diasble the “Delete” option so we know it is being reviewed.

Sankar
good idea! finally
Good step towards the quality and reduce review time
Don’t fortget that less tracks on the market means more sales of the existing tracks. So actually you will probably sell as manny tracks each month as you do now - and you’ll be able to take your wife to dinner sometimes instead of producing another track just to reach your weekly quota.
Not cool! This approach is not fair for the teams and studios!
Great idea! This is the most humane way to reduce the queue. Well done, namesake!))
Don’t worry I’m keeping up with both already
And I’m not 100% sure about less tracks until there will be some kind of photo id verification for all new accounts. There will be just more “no name” accounts at this moment with 5 tracks in a queue leading to even more confusion and time lost for reviewers.
Great news! I think we need to create top qulaity LIBRARY, not a heap of similar so-so tracks. This is one step to right direction, IMO. Our previous habit was to to create more and more similar to our best selling tracks with aim to stay on top of this heap. Hopefully, this new system will change this behavior. And we will focus more on quality of our submission. To be fair, there is still huge amount of approved tracks, that must be rejected.
This is my fear too. ID verification AND IP limits.
You need ID verification or Envato will be flooded with new accounts. That’s how it works.
