Hi everyone,
I recently submitted my WordPress plugin, PDForge, designed to dynamically generate custom PDFs with user data, and unfortunately, it was rejected for not meeting the quality standards required for CodeCanyon. I’m reaching out to the community for guidance, as I believe the plugin aligns well with the platform’s standards, and I’d like to understand more specifically what might have caused the rejection.
Here’s a bit more about the plugin:
- Purpose: PDForge enables WordPress users to create custom PDF documents with data dynamically pulled from forms and user profiles, allowing for a wide range of applications (invitations, certificates, menus, etc.).
- Functionality and Usability: We’ve put significant effort into the UX and UI to make the plugin easy to use, even for beginners. It’s thoroughly tested and ready for real-world applications.
- Documentation and Support: The plugin comes with comprehensive documentation, including setup instructions, use cases, and examples.
The rejection note didn’t specify exact issues, and I’m unsure which specific areas fell short. We’ve focused on a clean, user-friendly interface, detailed documentation, and ensured the code quality meets WordPress standards.
Could anyone provide insights on what might improve our chances in future submissions? Any guidance on areas that reviewers tend to focus on, or any particular standards for plugins like ours, would be immensely helpful.
Thank you in advance for your time and advice!
Best regards
