A while ago, I shared a post about a web application I’ve been developing — an Online Examination System aimed at helping educational institutions and training organizations manage their exams easily and efficiently.
Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any responses last time, so I’m reposting with more clarity, a live demo, and detailed credentials in hopes of getting some much-needed feedback from experienced authors or reviewers.

Admin & 
Student Roles
- Two user types: Admin and Students only.
- Clean separation of features and access rights.
Exam Management
- Admin can create exams with:
- Title, description, and duration
- MCQ questions (True/False and Short Answer formats coming soon)
Exam Scheduling
- Set specific start dates and times for exams.
- Exams are locked until the scheduled time begins.
Result Release Scheduling
- Results can be scheduled to release at a set time/date or published manually.
Auto-Submission & Timer
- Built-in timer per exam
- Automatic submission when time runs out, ensuring integrity
Student Dashboard
- View upcoming and completed exams
- See results (only after they are released)
- Neat and user-friendly layout
Responsive Design
- Fully mobile-compatible and adjusts well to different screen sizes
Admin Panel
- Manage all students, exams, and results from one clean dashboard
Secure Login System
- Simple, functional authentication for students and admins
Maintenance Mode
This locks the website down for updates, major bug fixes and or upgrade. it prevents access only to the users, admin can still login as they wish.
Planned Features (Post-Launch):
- More question types: True/False and Short Answer
- Certificate generation (after passing)
- Analytics for student performance
- Email notifications (exam reminders, results) * This has been implemented and it works*
- Dark mode UI
- Payment gateway (for monetized exams)
- Multi-language support
What I’m Looking For:
I’d really appreciate feedback on the following:
- Does this project meet Envato’s CodeCanyon standards in terms of design, features, and usability?
- What improvements would make this more competitive or appealing to buyers?
- Are there any technical or presentation requirements I should polish before submitting?
- Is the demo user experience clear and easy to navigate?
I’ve put a lot of time into this and plan to continue adding features based on feedback and usage. Your input would help me avoid rejections and ensure I’m on the right path.
