Repeated Flyer Rejections

Hello GraphicRiver Team and Fellow Designers,

I’m reluctant to post here, as I would have preferred to resolve this through the Help Center. However, each time I reach out, I receive the same generic responses, which don’t address my specific situation.

This is a new and frustrating issue for me. Just a few months ago, many of my designs were accepted back-to-back without a single rejection. Now, suddenly, every flyer design I submit is declined, despite my commitment to producing high-quality work that meets market standards.

These constant rejections have not only disrupted my workflow but have also led to a decline in my sales, as I’m unable to keep my portfolio updated with new designs. I can’t help but feel that this issue is not necessarily about the quality of my work but may instead be related to the approach of the current reviewer.

I would genuinely appreciate any constructive feedback or insight into why my recent submissions are being rejected, as I’m eager to maintain my standing as a trusted and experienced contributor to GraphicRiver.

I’ve also attached a few examples of my recently rejected designs below for reference.

Thank you for taking the time to understand my concerns.

Best regards,
Trsn Production.

Other than the contact info at the bottom, how much of these designs especially the background are:
a) original and our own design work from scratch rather than stock
b) editable

For example in the first one - the present boxes - can these be individually edited? Can the train be isolated and edited?

In terms of the contact info etc at the bottom - you need to work on your attention to detail.

It’s basic design work but for example (not the only issue) the padding around ‘ticketsale.com’ is inconsistent to the boxed margin

The ladies free copy on either side feels lost and like it’s only there because you didn’t have anywhere else to put it

Logos between website and social media look pixelated and stretched

Thank you for your feedback.

I’d like to clarify that each element in my designs is separate, not a single merged piece. Specifically, as you mentioned, the present boxes are in individual groups, with some even grouped in pairs, allowing for flexibility in editing.

Regarding the contact info details at the bottom, I’d like to point out that I’ve used the same layout across nearly 100 accepted designs, so I don’t believe this is the issue. Similarly, the “Ladies free” text on either side has also been part of my standard template in numerous accepted works, and it’s positioned intentionally.

As for the logos between the website and social media links appearing pixelated or stretched, please note that these previews are in low resolution. The original template is designed at 1800x1800 pixels with a 300 dpi resolution, ensuring high quality.

Thank you again for your input.

I feel the same way, it’s incredibly hard to get designs approved. There’s no clear standard for what type of design will be accepted, and no matter how good your work is, there’s still no guarantee. Meanwhile, they often approve designs that may not even sell, which is really frustrating. The market itself is good, but the review system could use some serious improvement. Maybe we, as flyer designers, could come together to push for positive changes? I’ve noticed a few other authors sharing similar thoughts.

It’s the same here! The problem is not your job! You are a wonderful designer with a very creative style! This is a top level requirement and the reviewer does as they are told! Don’t blame him! It’s just that the market rejects us for having our own style! After all the changes in the last one year, this is rather expected! I also have a question for the team and I’m waiting for an answer, but… Envato probably doesn’t want to sell our works anymore!

A tip from me!
Don’t post your stuff here! There are “designers” here who are just waiting for that! You will see your work on some other place before you post it!

Hi, I create an account because to have this conversation with you 2 guys.

For me you are 2 great flyer designers and i think one of the best on the market here.
I also was a very good designer with hq 3D renders in my flyers but quits about 3 years ago because of the same rejections.
My nickname was Royalflush2014.
And other great designers quits too.

In our prime time the reviewers were honest,
Egotype, the Romanian reviewer ( don;t know his name anymore ).
When your flyer was rejected then you know that it was not great and you must make some changes.
The last years when a great flyer gets rejected you realy not having any clue.

There are tons of the same handful ‘‘designers’’ that have their oversaturated stuff approved over and over again while very good attractive ones been rejected.

This is frustrating but it is this marketplace and to lead people to Elements and NOT your skills.

Unforunatly there is very less alternative and the flyer market is dying because of ai.
ai is amazing but all these websites don’t allow ai.

Goodluck to your guys and keep up the good work.

Thank you all for your comments, and I must say I really admire your designs as well. Regarding the “New Releases” section, I’ve noticed that many designers whose work I used to see regularly are no longer appearing. This suggests that there are likely many other designers facing the same issue but not voicing it here.

I feel the same way. At first I thought it was because of my designs and I complained to support, but apparently something is going on again that we don’t know about. I’ve been with GR since 2011, but I think I’m going to quit for good. Was going to close my shops in the summer but was asked to wait a while as there would be big changes. Now I know what they were and I say no thanks. It’s too frustrating to keep working for nothing.

Wat is uw accountnaam op graphicriver…?

I only have this account now on GR but there is nothing there, no portfolio.
I deleted my old one about 4 years ago.

Ik juich degenen onder u die uw portefeuille hier hebben verwijderd enorm toe, alsof het zo gemakkelijk voor u was om een portefeuille op een markt op te bouwen

My portfolio contains around 200 flyers and 700 sales but i was done with GR about so much rejections in a row.
When the new Mexican reviewers arrived and the start of Elements i got nothing approved anymore, it was about 60 rejections in one year, 3,5 - 4 years ago.
And when i read all these comments now when there is so much great flyers got rejected and trash get approved i think i made a great stap t close my account.

there are no changes to expect unfortunately, or just for worse again, i assume …

as for me, I have posted an item a while ago, the flyer was unique and nothing like this was seen here , there was no AI used or whatever , the thing was rejected (as usual I might add because I cannot get anything accepted anymore for a good while) after being queued for 13 days, then being placed in additional queuing for further review and was finally rejected more than 40 days after being posted … all this without a simple small individual note , just the usual already made rejection message

@BitState of course, you made a real point, I remember calculating the rating of sales of some the most massive portfolios (and large sellers) and compared it with mine , they had hardly 5 sales per item, when I had over 15
