Rejection Details : How to solve them

Rejection Details

  1. Please revisit line height right now it’s inconsistent, to improve readability in web design it’s recommend to use 1.5em of line height, you can use this tool: http://pxtoem.com/ to convert px to em’s. 2. SPACING ISSUES: Many of the elements in the template are not aesthetically spaced. 3. READABILITY: Parts of your design are either difficult to read or have contrast issues. Please make sure all sections of your design have adequate contrast and all text is easily readable on all devices. 4. Please collapse all the groups and layers effects in your PSD files.

Seems it’s PSD, better to post some screenshots as a first step

So there are three stuffs to upload Thubnail, Theme preview, main files. so u suggesting to upload only theme preview as a first step then wait to upload the pasds ??

No you have to upload everything required - if you leave anything out then it won’t even get looked at.

What @ki-themes was suggesting is that you share a link or image for the design for feedback.

The reviewer seems to be quite clear on what is wrong though in terms of file structure and readability which is probably a knock on result of issues with line height and spacing as they mentioned.

So I have made a preview of the design and uploaded on behance

https://www.behance.net/gallery/45388685/Yellow-UI-kit-Coming-Soon

will this be good ??

I think the orangish yellow color you are using is not looking good along with other background.

  • Work section overlay you have yellow background and grey text where as in team section you have same yellow background but white text?
  • Who we are section text is not that standing out of the background.
  • and yes line height issues

You need to submit these pages but be careful that you are clear what you are submitting e.g. The link there is titled “coming soon” but this is definitely broader than a maintenance page.

You also need to export and organise these different pages individually so it flows like a website (unless you are trying to submit a UI kit which is a different category).

You mus though also address the reviewer’s feedback around line heights and readability etc

Hey Rohan,

Thanx for the design feedback will work on it just let me know is this line height issue only on mobile version
or desktop version too.

Yeah I have changed the naming buy where do I have to submit this, is it a separate place to submit these images or in the upload section

Its in desktop view.

Follow these guidelines https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202822200-PSD-Templates-Submission-Requirements

But you still need to organise thendofferent pages separately - right now it’s still very confusing if it’s meant to be a PSD template or a UI kit and I’m not 100% sure it’s ready generally from a technical perspective with some of the spacing and typography.

So its only for paragraphs only right not for overall spacing as in making a baseline grid and alligning objects as per the baseline grid eg taking a baseline grid of 24 px alligining all elements top-padding & bottom padding in multiple of 24px
