IMHO
The idea is cool. I would read rap. 
It seems to me that for completeness of the music there are not enough interesting parts of percussions, more atmospheric sounds, fx sounds. Background violin sound lonely.
The solo instrument plays very midi. Not enough liveliness and support to it.

What do you refer to as the solo instrument? The strings arppegio? The guitar in the second half?
