The main problem is design (details, colors, pagination, features) .
Try to work at typography . Header and logo are not ok. I seem disproportionate.
Watch at Envato top products and you’ll understand exactly what I mean.
Check with W3C if the code is valid .
The concept is not bad. But work more at design.
Recipes gallery is not ok with image on background. Try to make cleaner!
Also I do not like the pictures and logo you choose in demo .
Try other font icons. Yours are too common.
