Hello, when i hire a freelancer to set up theme forrest wordpress (he use his envarto account, he bought the item). But he use the wrong licence (Just the regular not the extend version) is it then my mistake or from the freelenancer? Who is responsible for choose the licence and the consequences?
Best practice would have you purchase the item and license - without you doing this the future support and updates will only ever be available to the developers account. (There are ways to use the envato plugin to help minimise this challenge).
Are you sure you need the extended license? What are you trying to build?
There’s a massive price difference so it’s hard to see how they would have bought the wrong one?
If you genuinely need the extended version then your best option is to contact the theme author and look at options.
