Just to be clear I don’t work for envato. As above @SpaceStockFootage and I are merely adding clarity - we have not influence on the business decisions envato take.

With respect I am not sure anyone is forced to do anything - buyers can buy the items directly.

Would you mind sharing examples of another similar marketplace similar to this one (esp. if possible one where the marketplace do not own the items for sale) when you can pay in part credits part cash?

I am concerned about this refund/minimum-top-up issue as well. I would not call it a scam but I would appreciate to able to use credits as partial payment.

I currently have $3 credit and see no sensible way to spend that.
