RECOMMENDED: Tags: is either empty or missing in style.css header

When I check my theme with Theme Checker I get this:

RECOMMENDED: Tags: is either empty or missing in style.css header

I know there are other threads out there about this, I researched before writing here, but for all of them the problem was a non-whitelist tag and that didn’t help me. I checked for all my tags to be on the WordPress whitelist. I even tried to put the css header from TwentyTwelve in my css, but the error did not disappear. Makes no sense. What am I missing?

pink for example , you have the same structure?

SO tags cannot go last?

I had a somewhat reversed order :

Theme Name:

Theme URI:

Author:

Author URI:

Description:

Version:

Tags: one-column, two-columns, left-sidebar, right-sidebar, flexible-width, custom-menu, full-width-template, rtl-language-support, sticky-post, theme-options, translation-ready

License: GNU General Public License

License URI: license.txt

I re-ordered them to look like you said, but I still get the error.

Also I’ve tried copying the whole css header from TwentyTwelve and temporarily replace mine, but the error didn’t disappear.

The tags show just fine in “Theme Info”, but the error didn’t disappear no matter what I did.

Can my theme still pass approval if it has “Tags: is either empty or missing in style.css header”?
I really don’t understand why I get this error.

I don’t think order is important.

I replaced my style.css with style.css from TwentyTwelve, but I still get the error. It’s clear to me that the problem is not in my style.css. It’s really baffling. I don’t know what could be causing this, but looks like a Theme Check bug. I will check again all my theme .css files, maybe the problem appears because a plugin’s css is loading before theme style.css.

My question still stands: can anyone tell me if my theme may still pass approval if it has “Tags: is either empty or missing in style.css header”?

If you clarify your problem to the reviewer maybe , not sure … but i always receive soft-rejected for that kind of “theme-check” errors.

I finally figured out the problem: WOWSlider’s css had the same name, style.css, and although it has its own folder, Theme Check got confused.

EDIT: thanks manuelvega

i have strange problems…
When i check twenty eleven’s style.css in my localhost but it has no error…
But i upload the theme to my hosting it warned me like 'RECOMMENDED: Tags: is either empty or missing in style.css header.; Even when i remove tags or not…still same warning…
Please help me

Which Theme-check plugin do you use?
