Real Homes Child Theme Support - Help needed!

We’re having problems finishing the design of our site using this theme.

  1. We have a white box appearing just under the picture banner at the top that we want to remove.
  2. We have another white box at the bottom of the page with scroll bars on each side which we want to remove.

Screenshots attached. If anyone can help us it would be much appreciated.
