Question about licence

Hi everyone,

I am developing an opensource platform that is free to every consumer.
I am looking to purchase a PSD item from ThemeForest for the admin panel. I am wondering if regular license is enough for my case or I need an extended license?

I’m not sure this is allowed regardless of the license

A lot would depend on what the open source platform is/does and how users would use it

It says if the product is free to the end users then regular license is ok. is that right in my case?

The thing is it also says it can’t be an on demand or customisable end product nor of the end user plans to sell or profit from it

I would suggest asking support Envato Market Help and Support

Tokens can only be generated from the purchase account. Without that you will not be able to access support or updates

Thank you for that answer. So, should you buy an AVADA theme again for the active site? Will this purchase be valid once for a domain? The installation of this theme will not overwrite the existing work?

Option 1: Your webmaster creates an app that gives you access to updates etc. via the installation https://build.envato.com/

Option 2: Buy a new license but while this shouldn’t overwrite what you have it’s best to check with the author first, in case you have custom work applied to the current version which would not migrate
