QRcode scanner for a form field

Hello,
I am looking for a addon for my Gravity Form plugin, where I can create a new form and add a field that has scanning capability to collect data for that field. Right now if you add a field you have to type info manually, I would like the user to be able to scan a QRcode and have that field populate from a scan. Can anyone tell me if there is an addon I could use to accomplish this?

Thank you for responding but I still don’t understand the answer you gave. How would I add this to my form plugin?

That thread explains the different ways to do it - as it’s a member of the gravity team replying it’s safe to assume that there is no out of the box answer.
