Purchased theme but the author is nowhere to be found

I purchased a theme from the author who is nowhere to be found. I am uploading on bluehost and I have a css. stylesheet error.

Is it a WordPress theme? It’s possible you might just be uploading the wrong folder.

This error occurs when the file you are trying to upload into WordPress is not a valid theme file. Please go back to your downloads page and download the theme again, making sure to select “Installable WordPress file only.”

If you don’t see this option, then you may have purchased an item which is not compatible with WordPress. I would suggest contacting the author of the item you purchased to see if they offer a WordPress version and can help you exchange it.

Hope you have gotten a solution on how to fix the CSS stylesheet error at the time of theme installation from the above reply from @KingDog. Also, you should get documentation as a user guide for the theme in your purchased download zip (All files & documentation).

Please, note that installation ( issues ) is not covered by the item support in general.
On top of that, most of authors usually replies within 2-3 working days, sometime it may take longer.
