Public music collections and selection of tracks for them

Hi guys,
A new collections has appeared on the main Elements page in the Music category. And this is a good news. However, I’m both impressed and a bit confused by how some of them have been compiled. For example, “Fiesta Flow” includes 38 tracks in total, with 8 tracks from one author and 4 from another.

So why are some of these collections compiled in a way that heavily features the same authors over and over again?

Could you please compile them with a more even distribution between authors, rather than showcasing the same person 2, 3, or—like in this case—8 times in a single collection while neglecting others? The same issue applies to the new Hip Hop collection—featuring the same names repeatedly, with some authors having more than 2 or 3 tracks included.

Honestly, it’s really upsetting.

@BenLeong any ideas? It was promised that “Authentic Music” collection will be replaced with fresh selection, but it is still there untouched.

No one cares, thanks. :frowning:

Yep. And checked this one. It is even more unbalanced.

These playlists are an improvement. But still the presented music is far from being authentic, besides single tracks.

Is it collection or kinda search results? If it’s collection, it’s even more weird.

I thought the same. Maybe some kind of a tag-hack as well (on purpose or accidental).

Yep, without wanting to make it about me, I have to say, quirky/upbeat skiffle/ukulele/folky stuff is one of my specialities, so I would have expected to perhaps find some of my tracks in this playlist…but I can’t find a single one.

Same feeling about my reggaeton tracks. I know, there’s a lot of folks here wanting to be there, but to see one person with 5 or 6 tracks in the collection consisting of 38 tracks is very very generous for one person.
