Protecting your product - License validation during installation

Hi Everyone.

I am just wondering if the following is allowed

  • Requiring the user to enter their purchase code during the installation process. Allowing purchase validation
  • Obfuscating the part of the code in your application that does the validation etc

I am trying to find the best way to protect my product

This is maybe good, but not working in some projects. For example I selling Construct 3 project. I just can t protect it in any case, or when some selling small opener page in JS. I don`t know, but in any case need something to do with it, because overbrain pirates now is to much
