@themesflat is a elite author and they have approved wordpress themes. So, I think they know much about the rejection and they are expert in design common issues. Actually themforest quality standard and requirements improved much. for getting approve have to provide unique aesthetics design with best UI and have to put premium design. Also for wordpress theme rejection depends on: lack of Quality Design, lack of Coding, lack of wordpress coding style, lack of security, lack of premuim features. So, to see only front end difficult to say why wordpress theme got rejected. but primarily we can think rejected because of lack of aesthetic unique design.
