Pinterest clone plugin (not theme) for using on any WP site

Hello, I’m looking for a plugin that allow me and my users to create and manage a pin board on my Wp site with the same options of Pinteres (creating boards, uploading images from link, repinning, following…) without overriding my current WP theme, that works in an indipendent way (not using wp posts), showing it on a page using shortcodes.

I’ve searched for it but I only found full pinterest clone themes, plugins that show posts in pinterest like style, like this one http://www.themeshock.com/pinterest-wordpress/

This is exactly what I have been looking for for years … There are already a few good Pinterest-Clone Themes out there, like pinclone.com, but no plugin to be used with any theme. I have even asked the pinclone-devs, if they could provide it as a plugin without the theme, but no interest …

I don’t understand, why there is no dev interested in building such a plugin, especially in combination with BuddyPress it would be a big hit …
