I am stuck with a seemingly basic photoshop problem, I am hoping I can get an answer here,
Ok so the problem is as follows:
I have a photoshop file, in which I have used an overlay layer to add some effect in BG, something like a bookeh.
Now I want only the overlay layer to be separated (as a png)
In order to save with transparency, If I turn of the layer which is below then the colors change.
So how do I put the actual colors in the layer which I want to be saved as transparent png?
note that I want png because it is will be going in an HTML page, so the position of png will not be fixed. The background layer has a mild gradient and the layer which I want to save as png has some big brush strokes (different color) with 0 hardness.
